Compare the domain spelling, registrar, dates and nameservers. Missing contact information is not proof that the domain is unregistered. A network error means the lookup could not be completed. Keep transfer codes and account credentials out of public support requests.
Understand this result
The registrar manages the registration; nameservers show where DNS is delegated. An expiry date concerns registration, not your hosting invoice. Missing personal details do not mean the domain is free. Check the domain status and ask the registrar about any renewal or transfer restriction.

About .MA ccTLD
.ma is Morocco’s country-code top-level domain (ccTLD), administered by ANRT. You can register directly under .ma, such as exemple.ma, or beneath a descriptive extension, such as exemple.co.ma. The extension should suit your activity and the applicable registration conditions.
Registration goes through a declared registrar. Under Article 27 of the 2024 ANRT decision, the administrative contact must be a duly authorised individual established in Morocco, with valid postal and email addresses. The holder may act as this contact if eligible; the rule does not require that contact to be a Moroccan company.

Restricted descriptive extensions
.gov.ma, .ac.ma and .press.ma require prior examination by ANRT. Applicants must demonstrate their right to the requested name and provide the registration application and appropriate supporting documents through their registrar. A name that appears available in WHOIS is not an approval for registration under these extensions.

Open tool →Frequently asked questions
How do I search for a domain name?
Enter the complete domain, including its extension, in the domain search. Registration details and any available offer appear on this site. A network error does not establish availability.
Open the tool →How can I generate domain name ideas?
Use a short keyword in the domain generator, then check each suggested name. Suggestions are not availability confirmations or trademark checks.
Open the tool →How do I find information about a domain owner?
WHOIS shows public registry information when it is disclosed. Some contact details are withheld for privacy, so a lookup may identify the registrar without identifying the holder.
Open the tool →Where can I check a domain’s expiry date?
Look for the expiry field in the WHOIS result. An expiry date alone does not predict when a name can be registered again; renewal and registry procedures still apply.
Open the tool →How do I find the location of a domain or IP?
The location tool resolves the hosting addresses and shows approximate country, region and city, with a flag and map. This locates an IP in a database, not a person.
Open the tool →Where can I see a domain’s DNS records?
DNS lookup displays public A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT and CNAME records. For explanations and configuration checks, open the DNS health report.
Open the tool →Can I check whether a website responds from other countries?
Network checks compare HTTP, HTTPS, ping, TCP, UDP or DNS results from external probes. The checks run on demand; they do not provide continuous monitoring.

Read the guide →Keeping .ma holder information accurate
Registration information and DNS settings describe different things. To correct a holder name, organisation or contact address, contact the provider shown in WHOIS using your verified customer account. Explain whether you need a correction, a new administrative contact or an actual change of holder; the documents and approval process can differ.
Prepare documents without publishing private identifiers
Ask the provider which identity and organisation documents apply to your case, including CIN or passport and company identifiers where required. Submit them through the provider’s secure process, not a public lookup form. Compare public WHOIS fields after the accepted change; an update does not automatically change the nameservers, website or mail hosting.
