What a reserved name means
Some names are protected for institutions, public services or other defined uses. A listed term is a warning to review your eligibility with the provider before placing an order. Having no WHOIS record does not remove these restrictions. This checker searches the terms themselves; it does not decide whether you are entitled to use a name.
Understand the limits of this list
The registry describes its list as non-exhaustive and updates it. Names associated with institutions, administrative places and third-party rights may require review even without an exact match. This dated local snapshot is not a trademark search. Territorial names must also be reviewed under the official rules. Keep the official documents and ask your provider about a specific case.
